Global Systems Awarded Large Gestamp Contract

Birmingham, AL. September 10, 2009

Guy K. Mitchell, III, President of Mitchell Industries Inc., announced today that Global Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Mitchell Industries Inc., has been awarded a $1.14 million dollar contract to provide automated robotic welding cells for the Gestamp manufacturing plant in McCalla, AL. Mr. Nickie Fox, President of Global Systems said in a statement concerning the contract award, “We are very pleased to have been selected to be a supplier to the Gestamp plant that manufactures automotive parts for the Mercedes plant in Vance, AL. Separately, Global announced plans to move into a larger manufacturing/office complex in Decatur in late September, 2009. Mr. Fox stated “Our current business activity, order backlog and organizational growth necessitated relocation to a larger facility in order to continue to serve our existing customers and take advantage of new business opportunities.”
